Hey fans... it has been a while since we last posted. Like many of you, we have spent the past few weeks cleaning, gutting, mopping, drying and discarding. While most of us have our power back, the recovery effort in our hometown of Long Beach is far from over. In fact, for most, it is only the beginning. Hurricane Sandy brought on more devastation than Long Beach has ever seen, but at the same time it has also brought us together in many unexpected ways. As we stood outside our houses staring at the memories piling up on our sidewalks, we witnessed those who had already finished cleaning walk up and down their blocks, asking the neighbors if they needed an extra hand. At night, we sat around fires and candlelight with our drinks in hand, laughing, crying, and laughing some more, talking about how we will rebuild the community stronger than ever.
